For about 2 weeks we started to take Nadia to the swimming pool. We’re doing both private classes with a personal swimming teacher, but also group sessions with more kids and their parents in the pool. After a total of three sessions I would say that she’s a fishing type (considering as well the amount of joy at home during bath time) 
. While on the private sessions, the teacher holds Nadia all the time, moving her back and forth in the water, during the group sessions it’s the parent’s time to enjoy spending time with their kids in the water.
Right now she’s in the phase where everything that’s new becomes a must touch and of course a must taste. Therefore she’s more fishing for toys floating in the water, than actually swimming However, when she sees something big, colored and very interesting, she’s starting to move very fast her legs and hands in order to get there faster. Don’t imagine that she’s actually going to get there faster because of this, but it’s really nice to see her so excited and ready to fight for her goal.

Today Nadia showed us again how well she understands almost everything that we do around her.
Usually when I am alone with her at home and I need to get my hair dried I do it while I hold Nadia in Mei tai. Most of the times she stares at me with that little curious face of her looking like a recording camera
Today when I turned on the hair dryer she instantly stopped playing and look at me putting her hand over her head showing that she knows exactly what I am doing.
Parents be aware! Kids are recording all the things they see around them even when they seem to play or not paying attention.
On my oppinion, this is one thing that makes them EXTRAORDINARY!

Pingu became very popular thanks to his special dance style practiced lately also by Nadia
The only difference is that Nadia is doing it while I am breastfeeding her
So Pingu, is there a chance to meet and see how well Nadia is doing “Pingu move”?

From time to time I wish I had again that big and active belly with Nadia inside
