Dear all,

We have been working quite hard in the past days/weeks to re-launch our site and here it is! Refreshed, a bit reorganized and after our vacation in Singapore will become 100% functional. Right now you’ll see that the pictures are not moved yet, most of the users were not imported from the old site and maybe some other small bugs.

A major difference is that we’ll start to post in Romanian too, depending on the topic/section/category etc.

As i don’t want to bore you anymore, please click on the RSS feeds link and stay in touch with our adventures in Singapore/Indonesia and not only ;-)

The night before …

so … here we are, on August 24th in the evening, just before D Day :-D I really can’t believe that time flies so fast. In the same time there is this excellent feeling that I have :-) I am feeling very relaxed, here at Eugenia’s house, thinking about tomorrow, when we’re going to meet soo many people that we care about and that we haven’t seen in a very long time! I am sure it’s going to be great and I just can’t wait for it :-D I’m sorry but I cannot say too many things now … I am just smiling :-D

Just after the end of before …

Hej again ;-)

Yeah … now we’re after a bit more than one day after the legal ceremony. This means we are legally married, there are papers certifying that, we even got some kind of “family report book” where we are supposed to write down all our children (up to 7 :-) ).

As I said before this is the first part and must admit it was a very nice experience, especially because there were quite a lot of people coming to see us. This made us very happy and I couldn’t stop smiling all the time :-D Big thanks to all the people present there to see us signing papers and saying “DA” (YES) in front of the legal representatives!

Other than that the first feeling was that nothing has changed, but when I’m thinking deeper about what just happened yesterday I realize that this was the most important “DA” of my life :-D I also have a great happiness feeling combined with a sensation of relieve and I really enjoy it ;-) it’s very hard to explain the feelings I had starting with a few hours before and until now; I can only recommend you the same. If you are able to extract just the FUN out of it and forget quickly the “not-so-good-parts” it will definitely be one amassing experience! Good luck ;-)

Just before the end of before …

Yeah it’s quite late in the evening (well… morning) before the last phase of “before” is finished. Yeah, that’s true, tomorrow we’re gonna sign some papers that will prove we are married. Yupppieeee :-D Of course at this point I am only thinking about the good stuff behind this – 200 Euros from the town-hall, easier to obtain bank credits for a flat, our social status will significantly improve, as we are now “in line with the world” ;-) For sure not last and definitely not least is the fact that my dear darling Eugenia will become Mrs. Dobrescu :-) Well that’s something different and I believe she will make some interesting posts/comments around that! Good night now and see you tomorrow (actually today) at 13:00 ;-)

Hmmhhz I was thinking … how should we define the phase between the official legal stuff and the religious ceremony + party? I got it -> “between” :-D   Man I’m goood …

There is this strange rumor about getting married, especially for men (this is why I am writing this, dooh!). Honestly I cannot really understand these concerns, as I know quite many people who are very happy even after they’re married. I wonder if this is my opinion because I am still before?? hmmhzz … this is why we have after as well ;-)
